The Royal Wedding - Final Part

As I promised, I am bringing our wedding story alive.

In Part One of the story, you already read about our trip to Hungary at the beautiful Lake Balaton location.

In Part Two I talked about the Morning of the Big Day and The Ceremony.

After the wedding ceremony, which was held on the beach by Lake Balaton, we had a formal photography session.

The location was perfect for the pictures, and we have countless amazing shots of everyone. It was a lovely day at the end of May. May in Hungary almost always brings beautiful weather, sunshine and warmth.

Our Big Day wasn't any different. We were blessed with gorgeous sunshine and a warm breeze.

Shortly after the photos, we made our way to the wedding reception, which was inside the hotel's trendy and stylish restaurant.

The choices for our menu were a mix of traditional Hungarian and international dishes so all our guests could find something for their taste.

One of the most remarkable features of our wedding reception was the grand piano in the room. My brother is a brilliant musician and always finds his way to any instrument. This occasion was also a great opportunity for Jani to show off his skills. He played some tunes for our guests, to their delight!

Officially we hired a DJ to entertain us, and Imre was great playing all the chosen music we provided in the form of a wedding music list.

Andy and I collected all our favourite songs: classics and dance floor fillers, and it seemed that the guests had a great time dancing to our choice of music.

Andrea, our wedding planner, had this brilliant idea of cutting the cake by the beach after sunrise.

It was a fantastic atmosphere

The cakes were delicious too!

We danced into the night, only quieted down around 3 in the morning. Traditionally a Hungarian wedding lasts into the morning, and we almost made it!
